Privacy Policy
1. What Sol is
Sol is a daily theme app. Each day has one prompt. You may post a photo and a short caption to today. At midnight that day closes.
2. Information we collect
- Account: email address, sign-in token, display name, interests you pick, and that you confirmed you are 13 or older
- Content you post: photos, captions, comments, follows, blocks, reports
- Technical: device type, app version, crash logs, coarse usage (for example, that you opened Today)
- Notifications: a device push token and your timezone, held by our push provider (NetEase Yunxin) so we can send today’s prompt and comment alerts you opt into
We do not require precise location, contacts, or health data. This version does not sell coins or process payments.
3. How we use it
- Create and keep your account
- Show today’s prompt, posts, comments, and Archive
- Send optional notifications about today’s prompt and comments on your answers
- Moderate reports and enforce the Terms
- Fix crashes and understand which screens are used
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data to track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising.
4. Who can see your posts
Posts and comments are visible to other Sol users. Do not post information you want to keep fully private.
5. Sharing
We use infrastructure providers (for example, cloud hosting, email delivery, and NetEase Yunxin for push delivery) only to run Sol. We may disclose information if required by law.
6. Retention
We keep account and post data until you delete your account, or until we remove it for policy or legal reasons. Closed days remain in Archive unless the post or account is deleted.
7. Your choices
You may edit your profile in Settings, turn Daily prompt and Comments notifications off, block other users, and delete your account in Settings → Delete account. That removes your profile, answers, and comments. You may also email wyl2023666@gmail.com.
8. Children
Sol is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. See our Child Safety page.
9. International
We may process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States or other regions where our providers operate.
10. Changes
We will post updates to this page and change the effective date.
